Police in southern Germany said last night that 10 students had been injured in an attack at a high school.
Spokesman Ralf Koch from the Franken region of Bavaria said that a young man had been detained.
Officers evacuated the school in Ansbach.
Koch said no one has been seriously injured.
He was unable to confirm reports that the attacker had lobbed Molotov cocktails into a classroom.
