Joe Rollino, a strongman who lifted 1452kg at New York's Coney Island during its heyday and was still bending coins with his fingers at age 104, died yesterday after he was hit by a minivan while crossing a Brooklyn street. He hobnobbed with Harry Houdini, was a lifelong boxer and even had a bit part in the Marlon Brando film On the Waterfront.
