Stephen Colbert is turning bizarre comments from President Trump into a children's book that will actually help those suffering from Hurricane Florence.
On Friday night's episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the host turned the spotlight back on those still suffering from Hurricane Florence, particularly in North Carolina and his own home state of South Carolina.
With many still suffering, Colbert, 54, decided to take Trump's unhelpful comments about a boat that washed ashore, and use them for a children's book, with all proceeds going to help the victims of Hurricane Florence, The Daily Mail reports.
Colbert revealed in his monologue on Friday's show that some areas of the Carolinas are suffering even more now that the rivers have crested, two weeks after the hurricane.
