LONDON - A Jersey accountant's legal battle to gain access to the secret Royal wills of the late Queen Mother and Princess Margaret moves to London's High Court today.
Robert Brown says the wills - which, unlike ordinary wills, are barred from public inspection by a special exemption for the Royal family - may corroborate his belief that he is Princess Margaret's illegitimate son.
He will take his case to London's Court of Appeal after Sir Mark Potter, head of Britain's High Court family division, said in July that his claim should be struck out as "vexatious and an abuse of process".
Sir Mark said the bid to view the wills was made "solely for the purpose of seeking to establish an imaginary and baseless claim".
