The lawyer acting for Solomons Opposition MP Charles Dausabea will again apply for bail for his client today in the Solomon Islands Magistrates Court
It will be the third time Mr Dausabea has applied for his freedom since his arrest in April.
Mr Dausabea is charged with intimidation, inciting a riot, and threatening violence, relating to the Honiara riots on 18 and 19 April.
An appeal made to the High Court has also been refused in recent weeks.
Mr Dausabea's lawyer said his client still denied the charges against him.
Widespread violence broke out in Honiara in April after the controversial election of Snyder Rini as the country's Prime Minister.
Troops were flown in from around the Pacific to restore order, but not before large areas of Chinatown - the heart of the city's commercial district - were destroyed.
Manasseh Sogavare was later elected Prime Minister in the Solomons.
