A Solomon Islands journalist and his family are in grave danger from a militant group which has seized the country's Government, says Amnesty International.
Duran Angiki lives in Gizo in the Solomons and reports for Agence France-Presse (AFP) and other media on the worsening civil war in his homeland.
In a feature last week for AFP, he said ethnic violence had become business as usual in the capital, Honiara. Honiara has now become a Malaitan enclave controlled by the Malaita Eagle Force (MEF).
Amnesty says the family have received several threatening phone calls from MEF spokesman Andrew Nori. They were told that MEF members were searching for them.
