SYDNEY - A 14-year-old boy has been charged with stealing model Lara Bingle's prized Aston Martin.

The US$250,000 ($340,000) dark blue 2008 model coupe was given to Bingle - the face of the 'Where the bloody hell are you' tourism ads - by her fiance, Australian test cricketer Michael Clarke, as a Christmas present in 2008.

But during the early hours of December 30 it was stolen from an underground resident car park in Campbell Parade, Bondi. Other cars there were damaged, police say.

The luxury car was recovered, with minor damage, on New Year's Eve. Investigations led police to a home in La Perouse.

The 14-year-old boy has been charged with breaking, entering and stealing, entering enclosed lands without consent of the lawful occupier, and malicious damage.
