To save a slow-moving species of whale that lives along the Atlantic coast, the United States Government is telling ships to slow down from December.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration yesterday issued a 18.5km/h speed limit for ships 20m or longer that travel within 37km of major ports, and in areas where the North Atlantic right whale is found.
