Slovakian military plane crash kills 44

A Slovakian military plane crashed in north-eastern Hungary yesterday killing 44 of the 48 people on board.

The aircraft was on its way from Kosovo to Slovakia and crashed in rough terrain near the border. A Hungarian interior ministry spokesman said the aircraft had been flying at a low altitude and caught fire.
