A skydiver attempting a stunt in Colorado was killed yesterday when he hit a bridge and fell on to the rocks below.
Dwain Weston, 30, of Australia, died in the inaugural Go Fast Games. Weston, of Australia, had jumped from an airplane with another parachutist.
They were supposed to free-fall until they reached the Royal Gorge Bridge (316m), at which point Weston was to go above the bridge and the other athlete would go under it.
Weston, who was travelling at about 160km/h, struck a railing and fell on to a rock face about 90m from the bottom of the gorge.
