Skier found after 8 days

A Colorado cross-country skier missing for eight days with a broken leg in the backcountry was rescued after searchers heard his emergency whistle.

Charles Horton, 55, was admitted to hospital in fair condition with minor frostbite, mild hypothermia and dehydration in addition to a broken leg.
