Six dead in Nepal market fire

Police say six people died and one was injured when the biggest vegetable and fruit market in the Nepalese capital caught fire late on Saturday.

Four members of a family were among those killed, while member is in a critical condition.

The fire - apparently caused by a short circuit - engulfed the entire market.

Firefighters, police, soldiers and volunteers were still trying to douse the inferno on Sunday morning.
