A woman who stole US$240,000 ($348,800) from her employer to feed a shopping addiction has been sentenced to five years' probation.
Elizabeth Roach, 51, of Chicago, had a salary of $150,000 at accountants Accenture when she began racking up a huge credit card debt. She embezzled the cash over a 3-year period by padding expenses.
Roach, who has paid US$270,000 in fines, was relieved the case appears to be over, her lawyer said.
