This is the shocking moment a policeman is hit by a car on a snow-covered road, hurling him through the air.
The officer was reportedly attending to "slide-offs" in Sardine Canyon, Utah, on Sunday, when he was struck by the car.
Sgt Cade Brenchley, a father-of-four, suffered broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade but survived.
"I remember thinking to myself, 'I've been hit. I've just been hit. Holy crap," he said at a press conference on Thursday.
The woman who hit him was reportedly "in hysterics" after realising what had happened and has sent him flowers.
