Shock at Jakarta images

There is condemnation of the internet circulation of horrific photos of the final minutes of the New Zealander killed in the Jakarta bombing.

Timothy Mackay was honoured yesterday with 2.5m tall floral tributes laid along a major street in Jakarta.

Graphic images on the internet and Indonesian television show Mackay alive but severely injured after the bombing. Blogger Tory Maguire referred to one shot as "graphic and distressing. It's the kind of image that makes you feel sick, the sort of thing two seconds after opening it you wish you'd never seen."

Comments said the gruesome images would be distressing for Mackay's family.
The 62-year-old president director of the Swiss-owned Holcim Indonesia cement company was killed when bombs ripped through two of the city's upmarket hotels on Friday.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
