A 23-year-old man has died from a shark attack while surfing off the South African coast near Port Elizabeth.
A National Sea Rescue Institute spokesman said paramedics found the man with his right leg amputated above the knee from a shark bite while surfing at the seaside village of Glentana. He died in hospital.
