Sydney man Arthur Fairwell, who drugged and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl, was under the delusional belief that he was Ozzy Osborne, the heavy-metal singer turned reality TV star.
When he heard that Osborne allegedly had sex with a 13-year-old girl, Fairwell was shocked - but his obsessive beliefs compelled him to act like his hero, lawyer Greg Scragg told the NSW District Court yesterday.
The judge said she would weigh up the psychiatric evidence.
