September 11victim finally laid to rest

He died among stockbrokers on September 11 but illegal migrant Leobardo Lopez was buried with his own folk in a remote Mexican town yesterday after a long struggle by relatives to identify his remains.

Lopez, a cook at the Windows on the World restaurant near the top of the World Trade Centre, was laid to rest in a small churchyard in the hill town of San Pablo Anicano.

He left Mexico in 1997 to work illegally in the US.
