Security breach at Sydney Airport

Flights at Sydney Airport were disrupted by a faulty security screening machine this afternoon.

An airport spokesman said about 16 passengers passed through without being properly screened, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Subsequently, the area was cleared and all passengers were rescreened, recalled from planes and waiting lounges.
