A domestic terminal at Sydney airport has been evacuated following a security screening breach.
Hundreds of passengers have been disrupted at domestic Terminal 3, operated by Qantas, after transferring passengers who hadn't screened at their point of departure went into a "sterile" area on Tuesday afternoon, Macquarie Radio reported.
The terminal was evacuated but people are now returning.
Qantas has issued a statement apologising for the inconvenience.
Further comment is being sought from Qantas.
