Second death for regiment

Australian sapper Jamie Larcombe is the second soldier from the same Darwin-based regiment killed in Afghanistan in weeks.

The 21-year-old died on patrol in Oruzgan province when insurgents launched a co-ordinated attack with machine-gun and small arms fire.
