Paramedics treated more than 150 Australian school leavers for conditions including serious intoxication, drug side effects and accidental injuries during the first weekend of celebrations at Surfers Paradise.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said it had so far treated twice as many female patients than males.
A girl, 17, was taken to hospital with an injured foot after she crashed a moped on the Esplanade at 2.15pm yesterday.
Witnesses said the girl was knocked out for about two minutes and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
