Russian roulette goes wrong

A drunken Russian roulette game left a French man fighting for his life in hospital with a bullet wound to the head.

The victim took the revolver, belonging to a former soldier, apparently after a bet, to play Russian roulette, spinning the chamber of the gun which contained one bullet, putting the weapon to his head and pressing the trigger.

The revolver went off, badly wounding the man.
