Rudd to visit US

Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will visit the United States within days of being sworn in yesterday as Australia's Foreign Minister.

Before they were sworn in by Governor-General Quentin Bryce, Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Rudd announced he will visit Washington and New York from Friday until September 25.
