British police have arrested 56 people in London, most of them on minor public order offences.
Security at the royal wedding saw about 5,000 officers tasked with crowd control crowds, with 1,000 soldiers stationed along the route from Westminster Abbey to Queen Elizabeth's residence, Buckingham Palace.
Reuters reported that 10 people carrying anti-royalist placards were arrested at at Charing Cross railway station.
Earlier, two men and a woman were detained in southeast London, suspected of planning to behead royal effigies.
A fourth person, described by police as "a well-known anarchist," was arrested in Cambridge, northeast of London, Reuters said.
