A young man has been stabbed in the chest and back in a road rage incident in Sydney.
The 22-year-old is in a serious condition in intensive care at St George Hospital.
The victim, a 16-year-old boy and another man were on their way back from the T20 Big Bash cricket on Wednesday night when a Subaru cut in front of them in Bexley, said Inspector Mark Watters.
The driver of their car, a Mitsubishi, tooted the horn. This was followed by fist shaking and hand gestures from both cars. "The offending vehicle stopped dead in the road." he said.
"There was oncoming traffic so the victim's car couldn't drive around the offending car."
