A group of young people have been seen attacking police, destroying furniture and setting fires in rubbish bins.
A bar has been vandalised while 30 people caused damage and stole goods from a shop in the Champs-Elysées, where thousands are celebrating their Fifa victory, the Sunday Express reports.
The riots originated from the famous Arc de Triomphe and spread across other parts of the French capital.
Fifa has reported the deployment of armed forces.
