BERLIN - Crimes committed by right-wing extremists in Germany reached their highest level last year since reunification in 1990.
The crime rate rose by 14 per cent to more than 18,000 extremist offences, Tagesspiegel said, citing federal police figures. Of them, 1100 were acts of violence - an 8 per cent rise from the previous year.
The Government plans to pump millions of euros this year into projects to enhance tolerance and diversity.
