BRISBANE - Police are investigating the discovery of possible human remains near Murphy's Creek in southeast Queensland.
The small community in Lockyer Valley was hard-hit by flash flooding on January 10.
Police were contacted at about 6pm (AEST) on Saturday by a resident who discovered what was thought to be human remains.
Detectives and forensic specialists are currently investigating on behalf of the state coroner, a statement said.
