About 75 Ethiopian and Somali boat refugees are feared to have drowned after they were forced to jump into the sea by smugglers ferrying them to Yemen, the UN said.
Forty-five bodies have been recovered on the shores of Shabwa province and so far only 50 of the refugees on board four boats carrying 369 Africans have made it to shore.
The refugees were forced to jump into the Arabian Sea by the owners of the boats off the coast of Yemen.
