A man has been charged over the shooting deaths of 41 horses at a rural Queensland property.
The 49-year-old Mount Isa man was arrested on Thursday as part of an investigation into the suspicious deaths of the horses, who were found shot dead on a large property on Cramsie Muttaburra Rd in Longreach last week.

Some of the horses included pregnant mares and foals.
Initial investigations indicated the horses were killed between August 3-4.
