Authorities are assessing flood damage caused by a weekend deluge across southeast Queensland, as concerns have been raised about animal deaths.
The weather bureau says the drenching is over with rain easing across the state yesterday.
Two people died in flooding-related incidents.
The RSPCA estimates around 100 cattle and a large number of horses drowned in the Coomera River after the northern Gold Coast received more than 360mm of rain in 24 hours.
