More than 14 months after setting out on a voyage that many believed would kill her, quadriplegic sailor Hilary Lister on Tuesday completed a circumnavigation of Britain.
The 37-year-old former scientist, who can only move her neck, eyes and mouth, returned to a hero's welcome in Dover harbour.
Lister was cut down with reflex sympathetic dystrophy when she was 11.
She has raised more than £30,000 ($71,000) for her charity, Hilary's Dream Trust, which aims to help disabled adults to sail.
