Qantas flights across Australia have been affected by strike action today - but fortunately it will not impact New Zealanders heading to Sunday's NRL Grand Final in Sydney.
Around 3,800 members of the Transport Workers Union stopped work at all major Australian airports for one hour this morning, following disputes over pay increases.
As a result 40 flights have been delayed, and two services have been cancelled.
A Qantas spokesperson said only one trans-Tasman flight has been affected, with QF37 Melbourne to Wellington leaving early.
Earlier this week Qantas and Air New Zealand rushed to add services to get Warriors fans to the final clash against Manly, with Air New Zealand putting on two extra flights tomorrow, and Qantas adding one more service from Auckland to Sydney tomorrow.
