Princess to remarry first husband

Princess Stephanie of Monaco intends to remarry her first husband, Daniel Ducruet, a German magazine has reported.

The remarriage would take place next year as the couple want to observe the year of mourning decreed in the principality after the death of her father Prince Rainier in April, said Die Aktuelle.

The Princess and her former bodyguard Ducruet had two children. They divorced in October 1996 after being married only 15 months when photos were published showing Ducruet with a Belgian stripper.
