The Queen says Prince Philip is "not ill", despite her husband undergoing exploratory surgery on his abdomen.
Her comment came as she toured the BBC's Broadcasting House in London after opening the £1 billion ($2 billion) building.
Details about the Duke of Edinburgh's condition or the original symptoms that prompted the exploratory operation on his abdomen have not been released by Buckingham Palace.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman emphasised that the Duke "is in very good health".
