KEY POINTS:
Zimbabwe's agonising wait for the results of its presidential election is set to continue until Tuesday at least after the High Court in Harare said it would rule then on an Opposition appeal for disclosure of the count.
Regional leaders will convene an emergency summit to discuss the political crisis on Sunday in Zambia. Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai is attempting to persuade neighbouring leaders to talk President Robert Mugabe into accepting a peaceful transition of power.
Tsvangirai's Movement for Democratic Change party claims its leader won an outright majority in the poll on March 29 and is demanding the immediate release of results.
There is concern that the Mugabe regime is blocking the news that their president of 28 years has lost, and may be tampering with the count. Mugabe's Zanu-PF party has since started a campaign of violence and intimidation against its opponents.
