KEY POINTS:
Police have named an 80-year-old man who died while driving near Warkworth, northwest of Auckland.
Eric Kozanic, of south Auckland, was driving on State Highway 1 south of Warkworth yesterday afternoon when he is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
Mr Kozanic's wife, the only passenger, was not injured.
His death would not be included in the holiday road toll if it was confirmed he died of a heart attack, police said.
Another man was killed after the car he was in rolled on SH2 in Waikato at 4.30am yesterday.
The holiday road toll began at 4pm on Christmas Eve and finishes at 6am on January 3.
