Police and fire crews were called to a British Energy nuclear power station in Scotland after workers reported "anomalous behaviour" as they disposed of spent fuel rods in ponds.
No one was evacuated and production continued at the Torness plant, about 40km east of Edinburgh, after the incident yesterday. "We are looking into what triggered this anomalous behaviour," a spokesman said.
