The mother of a missing three-year-old boy and her boyfriend have been arrested as police found a child's remains encased inside concrete at their house.
Police in Kansas are investigating the disappearance of Evan Brewer, who was living with the arrested couple when he vanished, the Daily Mail reports.
Miranda Miller and Stephen Bodine had been arrested on separate charges last week and were being held in Sedgwick County Jail.
Since then, police made the grim discovery at their house, and although officers are not releasing the name of the child found, they believe it is that of a three-year-old.
Miller and Bodine are being held in connection to a different child custody case, police have said, and there has been no indication of what might happen should the remains be formally identified as those of Evan Brewer.
