SYDNEY - A suspected arsonist became a human fireball after a Sydney auto-electrical workshop exploded yesterday.
But last night the man had still not sought hospital treatment and police said if he was not dead already he could die of his burns within hours.
Security cameras captured two men running from the workshop at Artarmon, in Sydney's north, when the fire broke out early yesterday morning.
The footage shows a series of explosions erupt from the workshop before the flames engulfed the man.
Acting Superintendent Peter Yeomans said the burning man ran erratically from side to side along the street before finally ripping off his flaming clothes.
