A US federal court has issued a preliminary injunction barring the state of Wisconsin from killing grey wolves, siding with animal welfare and environmental groups. A permit had been issued to kill up to 43 grey wolves after the State argued the permit was necessary to maintain social tolerance of the wolves, which are listed as endangered.
