Pitbulls banned in New South Wales

Pitbull terriers and other fighting breeds will be banned in New South Wales after attacks that injured a 5-year-old boy and a 75-year-old man.

The planned laws will reverse the state's earlier opposition to legislating against specific breeds, and conflict with breeders' and veterinarians' advice that bans would be impossible to police.
