Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison.
The Olympian and double amputee was sentenced today for the shooting of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Pistorius, 27, was earlier found guilty of culpable homicide for the shooting Steenkamp through a bedroom door on Valentine's Day, 2013.
Pistorius was sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison on the charge of culpable homicide.
On a firearms charge, he was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for five years on the condition that he is not convicted of any crime involving use of a firearm.
