Pilots will be doing their bit to keep clear of Santa this evening.
Larissa Kay from Air Services Australia said all those in the air have been briefed on the Christmas flight path from the North Pole.
"We've issued a notice to airmen, to make sure that all the pilots operating on Christmas Eve know exactly where he'll be at all times to keep out of his way.
"We know that Santa's deliveries of presents are obviously the most important mission that needs to get accomplished on Christmas Eve."
