Lives and homes are under threat from an out of control bushfire burning in Perth's southeast, which is causing major disruptions to traffic.
A watch-and-act warning has been issued for people in parts of Kenwick, with the fire moving in an easterly direction towards Tonkin Highway, which has been closed.
Aerial support has been sent to assist ground crews who are defending homes from the fire.
