ADELAIDE - A body has been found in a house gutted by a bushfire south of Adelaide, police say.
The person was an occupant of the house destroyed by a blaze at Willunga, which started about 10.30pm CDT yesterday, a police spokesman said.
The remains were discovered earlier today during a search by police.
"The identity of the person has not been established," the police spokesman said.
The bushfire destroyed about 15 hectares of grass and scrub, along with the home, between Delabole and Bangor roads at Willunga South.
About 125 firefighters took about two and a half hours to contain the bushfire, the Country Fire Service said.
The deceased person was an occupant of a house on Delabole Road, the police spokesman said.
The cause of the blaze was not considered suspicious.
