New Zealand will send a group of 14 peace monitors to take part in the international team for the Solomon Islands.
Foreign Affairs Minister Phil Goff said yesterday that they would be part of an Anzac team, with deployment to be completed by early next month.
The contingent would be made up of one Foreign Affairs Ministry official, six police officers and seven Defence Force members.
