A man will face court after biting off the nose of another man during a fight in front of a Sydney taxi rank.
A group of men were waiting for taxis about 11.40pm (AEST) on May 17 outside a pub in Regents Park, in the city's southwest, when two men in their 40s got into a fight.
One of the men allegedly bit part of the other man's nose off during the altercation.
The 40-year-old victim was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment and is expected to undergo reconstructive surgery at a later date.
Following an investigation into the incident, a 41-year-old man was charged with causing grievous bodily harm on Wednesday.
