Paris terror attacks - Donald Trump's insensitive tweet: 'Now they are not laughing'

US presidential candidate Donald Trump has used the Paris tragedy as an opportunity to promote his view of foreign policy.

"They laughed at me when I said to bomb the ISIS controlled oil fields," he tweeted.

"Now they are not laughing and doing what I said."

He later expressed his condolences for the victims.

"My prayers are with the victims and hostages in the horrible Paris attacks," he said.

Other US presidential candidates have expressed their condolences and extended prayers.
